How should you praise and worship God? (hands raised, singing, jumping, shouting, standing quietly)
Is there a difference between praise and worship?
If they are different can there be times when they are one in the same?

If you asked 100 Christians from different denominations and experiences you might get 100 different answers.

However, the Apostle Paul warns us in 2 Timothy 2:23 about getting into arguments that can breed quarrels.

The most important thing is that when your praise and (or) worship is offered to God it is done so in earnest.

For John 4:24 says:
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

Therefore our expression of praise and worship should be a reflection of being one with the Holy Spirit living inside of us.
Because we are all different that expression may manifest itself in different ways outwardly but comes inwardly from the same Holy Spirit.

As Pastor Michael Todd says in the message below, ‘Worship is our love expressed to God as a response to His Grace towards us’.

The next time you worship God don’t focus on the how but remember the why.

But He said to me, “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.” Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me.
