Low Bandwith
Since the onset of COVID-19 many in person meetings have moved online.
One such meeting was a bi-weekly men’s group I attend.
We used to meet in the local libraries but now we meet exclusively on Zoom.
At our last meeting one of the men speaking was making some great points, but then his audio started to fade and what he was saying could not be heard.
The message ‘Low Bandwith’ appeared on his screen until his connection was restored successfully.
In Psalms 130:1-6, the Psalmist pleads for his connection to the Lord to be reestablished:
Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord; Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?
But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you. I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope. I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.
No matter your circumstance, your connection with God cannot be broken .
Prayer: Lord we know that sometimes it can seem as if You don’t hear our cries, or worse yet we don’t see or hear Your response. But we know You are always working on our behalf for our good and that You will remain faithful to Your word. Let us trust in this always.
Action: Are you having trouble hearing God’s voice? Take a few moments and sit in complete silence. Cast your worries and cares on Jesus and let Him restore your Holy Spirit connection to the Father.
