Recently, my wife and I were wondering why it is nearly impossible to hear bad singers when large groups of people sing at concerts.

After some research I discovered that due to the resonance in the human voice the varying vocal qualities of the group wind up harmonizing with each other.

In essence, the imperfections of the voices make a fuller sound that seemingly perfects the imperfect nature of each voice.

In 1 Corinthians 12:24b-27 the Apostle Paul talks about how God has created our bodies to work together for His glory:

God put our bodies together in such a way that even the parts that seem the least important are valuable. He did this to make all parts of the body work together smoothly, with each part caring about the others. If one part of our body hurts, we hurt all over. If one part of our body is honored, the whole body will be happy. Together you are the body of Christ. Each one of you is part of his body.

Despite our imperfections, we are perfectly assembled to do God’s will.

Prayer: Lord Jesus let your body of believers unite in this season under one banner and shout Your praises with one voice, that others may know You and be saved.

Action: Find your voice of praise. Cry out to God in thankfulness and ask Him to let Your Spirit become aligned with His will.
