| College football season has returned and with it the hope of many fanbases. Perhaps this hope resonates most deeply with the Colorado Buffaloes faithful. After winning only one game a year ago, Deion Sanders (Coach Prime) has taken over as head coach and completely overhauled the roster. A number of college football analysts and media members criticized the unprecedented methods of roster building, suggesting it wouldn’t work because it had never been done before. In Isaiah 43:18-21, despite their impending exile to Babylon, God uses Isaiah to encourage Israel that a deliverance is coming unlike anything they’ve ever seen. “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. The wild animals honor me, the jackals and the owls, because I provide water in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland, to give drink to my people, my chosen, the people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise.” No matter the circumstance always trust God to make a way. |

| Lord please help me in this season. I am struggling to feel your presence, but I trust You to deliver me in any situation. |
