| In the world of artificial intelligence a hallucination is defined as a confident response by an AI that does not seem to be justified by its training data. Today ChatGPT uses a dataset of nearly 570 gigabytes of data (the equivalent of over 300 billion words) to provide sensible and reliable answers when queried. Much of the dataset comes from sources like Wikipedia, which is updated and checked for accuracy by human editors to combat erroneous information. In Matthew 15:4-9 Jesus criticizes the Pharisees, who have twisted the meaning of God’s commandments to make themselves look more honorable . For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother’ and ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’ But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is ‘devoted to God,’ they are not to ‘honor their father or mother’ with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition. You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you: “‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’” The actions of those who believe in God should always reflect His word. |

| Lord, thank You for being great and merciful. I repent for behaving in ways that are not truly representative of Your word. Help my spirit to realign with Your will for my life. |

| We’ve all been hypocritical at times since our actions do not always reflect the love of the God we serve. This week take inventory of some areas in your life that are out of alignment with how you should represent the word of God to others. Take a moment and repent and ask God to show the way He wants to represent yourself going forward. |
