| Have you ever opened up a package and the item inside had an ‘inspected by’ sticker on it? After doing some research I learned that these inspection stickers serve two purposes. The first is to ensure the consumer a measure of confidence that the product has been inspected for quality. The second purpose is to more easily trace problems with a product back to an inspector’s specific code to see if the item is being properly vetted. Psalms 139:13-18 reveals that every part of your being has been thoroughly inspected: For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand when I awake, I am still with you. Every aspect of your existence has been fully inspected by God. |
Prayer |
| Lord, we come to You today thanking You for the protection and provision You have placed over our lives. We know that even in times of trouble we can trust that You are with us and have given us a spirit of faith that will see us through any obstacle that comes against us. Amen. |
Action |
| Despite God’s hand being on our lives we will still face trouble. This week pray for God to see you through the current struggles you are facing. |
