He is like a tree planted beside streams of water
that bears its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither.

Who doesn’t want to prosper in everything they do?
Most people reading this would say of I course I want to prosper in everything I do.
But what sometimes gets lost in this scripture is the process of prospering.
Being planted by streams of water is a great place to be but it takes time to become rooted in that position.
No trees bears fruit when it is first planted as a seed, but when it bears its fruit the tree doesn’t have to move anywhere to be recognized and utilized for what it produces.
Could God be setting you up to be utilized and recognized in the place of your most constant frustration?
You won’t find out unless you seek Him and continue become rooted in His word and instruction.
